Mildred Louise Faulkner (1933-2016)

Mildred Louis Faulkner was born on April 15, 1933 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to  William Clifford Faulkner and Mamie Belle Kidd.

She married John Paul Tubia Sr on December 7, 1951 in Yuma, Arizona.

They were the parents of John Paul Tubia Jr and Debbie Tubia.

She died on May 12, 2016 in Frankfort, New York.

Mrs. Mildred L. Tubia 1933 – 2016
FRANKFORT – Mrs. Mildred L Tubia, 83, of Third Avenue, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, in her home, with her family by her side.
She was born in Muldrow, OK, on April 15, 1933, the daughter of the late William Clifford and Mamie Kidd Faulkner. She was raised and educated in schools in Holtville, CA. She was married to John P. Tubia, Sr., on December 7, 1951, in Yuma, AZ. John passed away on January 20, 2007. Mildred was an Assembler for Univac, Utica, NY, for over 20 years, until her retirement in 1977. She loved to travel, go to the casino and have family dinners. Her great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Mildred is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John, Jr. and Brenda Tubia, of Herkimer; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Frank Moracco, of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Corie Pullman, of Herkimer, and her husband, Christopher, Christie Maylo, of Mohawk, and her husband, Rich, Frankie Moracco, of Ilion, and his partner, Doug Spanfelner, and Jamie Viola, of Frankfort; five great-grandchildren, Logan and Jacob Pullman, Bear Maylo and John and Emma Viola. She is survived by one sister, Willie Mae Nelson, of Holtville, CA; sisters-in-law, Linda Faulkner, of Fort Smith, AR, and Norma Faulkner, of Sallisaw, OK; and brother-in-law, William (Bill) Knox, of Terrell, TX; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, William (Buddy) Faulkner, Bobby Faulkner; and sister, Maudie Knox.
Her funeral service will be held Monday morning at 11:30 AM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort, with the Rev. Leo Potvin, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday evening, from 4-8 PM, in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
Mildred’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice nurses and staff for their care and compassion during Mildred’s brief illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frankfort Fire Dept. Memorial Park Fund, 158 Litchfield St., Frankfort, NY 13340 or to Hospice & Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Mary Ellen Faulkner (1926-2006)

Mary Ellen Faulkner was born on November 13, 1926 in Paw Paw, Oklahoma to  Roy Alfred Faulkner and Minnie Arizona Price.

She married Ira Edwards.

They were the parents of Donnie Edwards and Mary Ruth Edwards.

She married Doug Gilliam.

She died on July 4, 2006 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Funeral services for Mary Ellen Faulkner Gilliam, 79, of Muldrow, were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Rev. Tommy Treat officiating. Burial was in Cottonwood Cemetery, south of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. Gillam was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Paw Paw Bottoms, to Roy Faulkner and Minnie Arizona (Price) Faulkner. She died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Phyllis; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy and Helen; one brother, Jack; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ruth Edwards Dill.

Bobby George Faulkner (1941-2016)

Bobby George Faulkner was born on March 11, 1941 to  William Clifford Faulkner and Mamie Belle Kidd.

He married Linda Ann Stone on July 3, 1971 in Herkimer, New York.

They were the parents of Summer Faulkner and April Faulkner.

He died on February 4, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Bobby Faulkner
Bobby George Faulkner, 74, of Fort Smith entered into rest Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, in Fort Smith. He was born March 11, 1941, in Muldrow, the son of the late William and Mamie Faulkner. He was a former employee of Whirlpool and of the Assembly of God faith. Bobby grew up in Holtville, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; two daughters, April Wear and husband Mark of Fort Smith and Summer Vickery and husband Bill of Greenwood; two sisters, Willie Nelson of Frankfort, N.Y., and Mildred Tubia of Frankfort, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Max, Braeden and Raelyn.

Cremation under the direction of Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.

James Franklin Eddleman (1871-1957)

James Franklin Eddleman was born on February 2, 1871 in Johnson County, Texas to Asbury Franklin Eddleman and Melina Ann Warren.

He married Alice Frances Mills.

He died on September 5, 1957 in Big Spring, Texas.

Eddleman Services To Be Held Sunday At Church In City
Funeral services for James Franklin Eddleman, 86, 2620 Auburn St., will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday at Pioneer Memorial Methodist Church.
The Rev SH Salley, pasotr, will officiate, assisted by the Rev Wallace Kirby, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Stanton, and Dr CA Bickley of Lubbock.
Burial will be in Tech Memorial Park under dirction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Spanish-American Vet
A veteran of the Army in the Spanish-American War, Eddleman died Thursday night in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Sprng where he had been hospitalized a month.
Born in 1871 near Joshua, in Johnson County, he attended Baylor University and taught school in Johnson and Deaf Smith counties prior to 1905.
Following his marriage to the former Miss Alice Francis Mills of Mangum, Okla., Eddleman took up farming at Hereford to return to Joshua where he farmed until l1923, when he moved to Lubbock County. He retired as a farmer in 1929 and moved to his present home inLubbock.
After his retirement as a farmer, Eddleman entered the real estate business.

A trustee and charter member of Pioneer Memorial Methodist Church, Eddleman was active in affairs of the Spanish-Amerian War Veterans’ organization and in politiacl affairs. He served 18 years as Democratic Party precinct chairman.
Survivors include his widow: one son, W Frank Eddleman, 2624 Auburn St.; three daughters, Mrs L Edwin Settle, 2710 55th st, Mrs Charls I Waller, 2410 6th St, and Mrs W Wilson Martin, 2620 Cornell St., all of Lubbock; two sisters, Mrs George C Wicker of Joshua and Mrs Ettie Daniel of Glen Rose; three brothers, Columbus E Eddleman of Cleburn, Reginald N Eddleman of Dalls and Earl H Eddleman of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren

Novella Butler (1917-2015)

Novella Butler was born on October 8, 1917 to Vodie Jefferson Butler and Rachel Elizabeth McClure.

She married Carnie Nelson Henderson.

She died on May 8, 2015 in Mayfield, Kentucky.

Mrs. Novella Henderson, age 97, of Mayfield, KY, died at 9:15 PM Friday, May 8, 2015, at the Green Acres Healthcare Facility in Mayfield. Novella was a member of Northside Church of Christ. She was a china buyer for Famous Barr in St. Louis. Prior to that she worked at the Pottery and as a waitress at the Steak House and was the former owner of the Wingo Café.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Jerry) Jones of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren ’96 Jerry N. Jones of Denver, CO; Robert Jones of Willow Spring, NC; Larry Jones of Anchorage, AK; and Teresa Jones of Jackson, TN; 9 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Henderson, and her brothers, Phillip Butler, Paul Butler, and Jack Butler. She was the daughter of the late Vodie J. & Rachel McClure Butler.

Funeral Services for Novella will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield. Mike Tucker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Clark Cemetery in Hickman County. Friends are invited to call after 9:30 AM on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.

Pallbearers will be Robert Jones, Jerry N. Jones, Milton Cochrum, Billy Satterwhite, Andrew Herndon and David Butler.

Frances Lee Butler (1906-1974)

Frances Lee Butler was born on August 15, 1906 in Graves County, Kentucky to Samuel Dempsey Woodward Butler and Laura Dell Faulkner.

She married M Ira Puckett on December 23, 1923.

They were the parents of Nathan Puckett, Ray Puckett, Connie Puckett, Leon Puckett, and Charles Puckett.

She died on July 9, 1974 in Napa, California.

Frances Puckett
Napa – a funeral service for Mrs Frances Lee Puckett, 67, of 3235 Laurel St., who died Tuesday, will be held today in Warren, Mich., followed by burial in the family plot at Cadillac Memorial Gardens, Waren.
Local arrangements were under the direction of the Richard Pierce Funeral Service.
Mrs. Puckett was a native of Kentucky. She lived in Michigan and Kentucky most of her life, coming to Napa in 1972 to make her home near her son, Nathan.
She was the widow of M Ira Puckett. Survivors include two sons, Nathan of Napa and Ray of Tucson, Ariz; a daughter, Mrs Connie Taylor of Columbus, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs Annie Micksell of St Louis, MO.

Ernest Lorenzo Boling (1916-2006)

Ernest Lorezo Boling was born on May 4, 1916.

He married Nora Lee Wooten.

He died on November 17, 2006 in Coldwater, Mississippi.

Ernest L. Boling, 90, passed away November 17, 2006 at his home in Coldwater, MS. He was a retired Press Operator with Chromcraft Corporation and a member of the Coldwater Church of Christ. Mr. Boling is survived by his wife, Nora Lea Boling of Coldwater, and his sister Allene Powell of Morristown, TN. He is also survived by one daughter, Ruth Boling Brister of Senatobia, MS and one daughter-in-law, Karla Shaffer Boling of Montgomery, AL. He leaves two granddaughters, Laret Boling Casella and her husband Jeff of Nashville, TN, and Elizabeth Brister Baker and her husband Caleb of Forrest City, AR. Mr. Boling also leaves two grandsons, Shon Karl Boling and his wife Kelly of Elmore, AL, and Ron Larry Boling and his wife Joann of Dessemer City, NC. One great-grandson, seven-year-old Alex Boling of Elmore, AL. Mr. Boling is preceded in death by his only son, Ernest Larry Boling. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Coldwater Church of Christ with Billy Bland officiating. The burial followed at Crockett Cemetery in Crockett, MS. The family requests memorials be made to Coldwater Church of Christ Building Fund. Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia had charge of the services.

Forrest Eugene Bell (1929-2006)

Forrest Eugene Bell was born on June 23, 1929 in Lubbock, Texas to Leonard Evan Bell and Era Viola Hacker.

He married Cleta Morton in Lubbock, Texas on February 14, 1948.

He died on May 14, 2006 in Lubbock, Texas.

Forrest Eugene Bell passed away Sunday May 14th. He was born in Lubbock on June 23, 1929 to Leonard Happy and Era Hacker Bell. He was one of five brothers

Forrest Married Cleta Morton, Feb. 14, 1948 in Lubbock at the First Nazarene Church.

Forrest was a stone mason and had laid brick since the age of sixteen. He established Forrest Bell Masonry, a successful business until his retirement several years ago.

Forrest is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cleta Morton Bell; two brothers Bobby and Windell Bell; a daughter Donna White and son-in-law George White; daughter Debbie Henry and son-in-law Chris Henry; son, David Bell and daughter-in-law Rebecca Bell. He found great joy in his five grandchildren and his seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Bell was a Christian and was raised in the Nazarene Church.

Graveside services will be 11a.m., Wednesday May 17th in the City of Lubbock Cemetery with Pastor Ray Hill of the Five Stones Fellowship Church officiating

Bobby Lester Bell (1927-2013)

 

Bobby Lester Bell was born on December 16, 1927 in Lubbock, Texas to Leonard Evan Bell and Era Viola Hacker.

He married Ella Wese Hooker on April 23, 1948 in Lubbock, Texas.

He died on January 20, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas.

Bobby L. Bell, 85, of Lubbock departed this life for his Heavenly Father’s House on Sunday, January 20, 2013. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at the South Plains Church of Christ, Mr. Jim Brewer, minister, will officiate. Burial will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors. Bobby was born on December 16, 1927 in Lubbock to Leonard E. and Era Viola Hacker Bell. He graduated from Lubbock High School in 1945 and then joined the U. S. Marines. After his discharge, he returned to Lubbock and married Ella Wese Hooker on April 23, 1948 in Lubbock. He was a plumbing contractor and owned his own business, Bobby Bell Plumbing Company. His wife of 62 years preceded his in death on December 19, 2010. He was a member of the South Plains Church of Christ. Bobby is survived by his two sons, Danny Bell and daughter-in-law, Kelly of Lubbock, and J. Ted Bell and wife, Dina of La Grange, Texas; and brother, J. W. (Windell) and wife, Gene Bell of Lubbock. He was affectionately known as Dedee to seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and all of his neighbors and friends.

Roy Alfred Faulkner (1906-1970)

Roy Alfred Faulkner was born on February 21, 1904 in Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory to  George Alfred Faulkner and Maude May Weatherly.

He married Minnie Arizona Price on July 5, 1924 in Crawford County, Arkansas.

They were the parents of Minnie Helen Faulkner, Mary Ellen Faulkner, Marie Faulkner, Jack Price Faulkner, and Peggy Ruth Faulkner.

He died on May 4, 1970 in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
