Narcissa Edell Falkner was born on May 1, 1844 in Tennessee to  Alexander Falkner and Elizabeth Plant.

She married John Guill.

They were the parents of Alice Ann Guill, Thomas Jefferson Guill, George A Guill, Charles Alexander Guill, Flora Etta Guill, and Nannie Betty Guill.

She died on July 24, 1939 in Wingo, Kentucky.

Clarence Otis George (1905-1994)

Clarence Otis George was born on March 3, 1905 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Will George and Era Price.

He married Daisy W Faulkner on December 26, 1925 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

They were the parents of Clarence Eugene George, Charles Edward George, Margaret Louise George, Donald Ray George, Wanda Lee George, and Carolyn Ruth George.

He died on January 13, 1994 in Muldrow, Oklahoma.

GEORGE, CLARENCE

Will and Era Price George of Batesville, Arkansas, were the parents of three children: Clarence (born March 3, 1905 in Fort Smith, Arkansas), Edna (born July 31, 1903 in Muldrow, Oklahoma) and Rena (born January 20, 1907 in Moffett, Oklahoma). Will George died in 1909 in Batesville, Arkansas. His wife, Era, died in 1940 in Bell Gardens, California.

Edna George married Lathie McWhirter of Moffett, Oklahoma. They had two children, both residents of California.

Rena George married Gary Moore of Kansas City, Missouri. They had two boys, both natives of California.

Clarence George married Daisy Faulkner on December 26, 1925. Daisy was the daughter of George and Maude Faulkner of the Lone Oak Community. Clarence and Daisy had six children, three boys and three girls: Clarence Eugene (born December 9, 1926), Charles Edward (born October 10, 1928), Margaret Louise (born October 17, 1935), Donald Ray (born February 25, 1938), Wanda Lee (born September 25, 1940) and Carolyn Ruth (born November 8, 1943).

Clarence Eugene (Gene) died in March 1944, at the age of eighteen. He was raised in the Lone Oak and Roland area.

Charles Edward (Ed) married Helen Wofford of Roland, Oklahoma, in 1947. They have three sons and one daughter: Eddie of Roland, Stanley Richard (Dickie) of Oklahoma City, and Michael and Becky of the home.

Margaret married Moody Ray Blaylock in 1954. They have one son, Marshall Ray, and one daughter, Dalana Gaye.

Wanda married Bobby Rogers of Gans, Oklahoma. They have two sons, Brig Allan and Scottie.

Carolyn married Jimmy Brunk. They have two boys and one girl: Monty, Farron and Tonya.

Donald married Vera Shackelford. They have two daughters, Michelle and Paula. Donald and Vera went into the ministry in June, 1971. They started a church in Fairfield, Illinois, which was the first Assembly of God church in this city. Their work started with a lot of visitation, social work and long hours. The first few services were held in their trailer home. Later they shared a church with Presbyterians and continued doing this until they purchased the church. Their first service attendance was four (their family). Since that time God has blessed them tremendously. They now have an average attendance of 250 per Sunday.

Daisy Faulkner George was burned in October, 1968. She died on December 12, 1968. Clarence is now married to Bertha Hicks George. They live in Greenwood, Arkansas.

Robert E Lee (1927-1993)

Robert E Lee was born on May 28, 1927 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to  Fred Elmer Lee and Maggie Elizabeth Faulkner.

He married Dorthey [Last Name unknown].

They were the parents of Gary Lee, Bobby Lee, Pamela Lee, Melinda Lee, and Margaret Lee.

He died on January 3, 1993 in Selma, California.

 

 

Obituary published on 6 January 1993 in The Fresno Bee (Fresno, California).

SELMA – Services for Robert “Rebel” E. Lee, 65, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God in Caruthers.

Mr. Lee died Sunday. He was a farm laborer.

Surviving are his wife, Dorthey; two sons, Gary of Kingsburg and Bobby of Selma; three daughters, Pamela Crowson of Caruthers, Melinda Lee of Fresno and Margaret Luis of Selma; six brothers, Fred Jr., George and Raymond, all of Oklahoma, Jack of Selma, Joe of Riverdale and Arthur of Clovis; five sisters, Patsy Woods of Riverdale, Tennie Allison and Marilyn Johnson, both of Selma, and Mary Gee and Martha Sewell, both of Hanford; and 12 grandchildren.

Page Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Zelda M Pitt (1933-1995)

 

Zelda M Pitt was born on February 22, 1933.

She married Floyd W Mills.

She died on March 30, 1995 in Burleson, Texas.

Zelda M Mills, 2, a retired bookbinder for Stafford-Lowdon Inc., died Thursday at home.
Funeral: 2 pm Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, where she was a member.
Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7 to 8 tonight at Greenwood Funeral Home
Mrs Mills lived in Fort Worth most of her life and in Burleson for one year.
She worked for Stafford-Lowdon Inc for 15 years before her retirement.
She was a member of Rebekah Lodge 166 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 549 in Burleson.
Survivors: Husband, Floyd Mills Sr of Burleson; two sons, Floyd W Mills Jr of El Paso and Allan Hubert Mills of Hawaii; daughter, Loretta Mills Turner of Arlington; two brothers, Belmont Pitt of Fort Worth and Zan Pitt of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Charles Alexander Guill was born on May 18, 1873 in Kentucky to John Guill and Narcissa Edell Falkner.

He married Lillie Donnie Copeland on June 5, 1901 in Graves County, Kentucky.

They were the parents of Raymond Shell Guill, Robbie Lee Guill, Clyde Guill, Jeanette Guill, Laverne Guill, and John F Guill.

Byrd Gregory Faulkner (1873-1963)

Byrd Gregory Faulkner was born on March 25, 1873 in Water Valley, Kentucky to  Jefferson Faulkner and Rebecca Lattimer.

He married Florence V Ragsdale on July 20, 1904 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

They were the parents of Alline Lena Faulkner and Wilburne Edward Faulkner.

He died on November 8, 1963 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma.

GUNTER, GW AND ELIZA

GW and Eliza Gunter came from Alabama to the Indian Territory in 1839 with their children, Mary, Susan, and Sam. They settled in the Redland Bottoms. Five more children were born in Indian Territory, Araminta, George, Elizabeth, John, and Jeanetta. The Gunters were Cherokee immigrants who came west, and Mr Gunter was the first man to own a cotton gin in Indian Territory.

Araminta was born January 13, 1843. She married John B Ragsdale in 1860, John fought in the Civil War for the Confederacy. Araminta and two of her children, Wilbourn and Lizzie, went to Texas the last two years of the war. Lizzie died while they were in Texas. They returned to Indian Territory after the war. Mary was born, and then Florence was born in 1873. Mary died at an early age. John died in 1875.

In 1876 Araminta married another soldier, WS Pack. To this union was born a daughter, Allie. Araminta raised her two orphan grandsons, Joe and John Ragsdale, from small children.. Araminta died in 1935.

Wilbourn Ragsdale was born in 1861. He married Mollie Mize, and to this union were born two sons, Joe and John. Mollie died in 1885. Wilbourn later married Ellen Crosslin, and to this union were born ten children. Wilbourne died in 1917, and Ellen died in 1928.

Florence Ragsdale was born in Indian Territory, August 8, 1873. She was half Cherokee Indian and attended the Female Seminary at Tahlequah. Florence married Bird G Faulkner in 1904. To this union were born one daughter, Allie L, and one son, Wilbourn. Bird came to Indian Territory from Wingo, Kentucky, in 1882. He came with his family by steamboat to Ft Smith, Arkansas, and settled in the Moffett Bottoms. Bird died in 1963, and Florence died in 1969.

Allie Pack was born August 24, 1880. She attended the Female Seminary at Tahlequah and taught school for several years. Allie married Robert Lee Faulkner in 1909. To this union were born one son, Perry, and three daughters, Violet, Sybil, and Norene. Violet died in 1968. Allie died in 1960. Bob died in 1964.
