He married Norma Lee Isaacs on February 28, 1976 in Reno, Nevada.

He died on May 26, 2002 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Funeral services for William “Bud” Faulkner, 71, of Gans, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow, with Rev. Jack McLaughlin officiating under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mr. Faulkner was born Oct. 18, 1930, in Roland to William Clifford Faulkner and Mamie Belle Kidd. He died Sunday, May 26, 20002, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was married to Norma Isaacs. Survivors include his wife, Norma of the home; two daughters and son-in-law, Marianne and her husband Larry and Debra; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bill Jr. and his wife Dianne, Gerald and his wife Kathy and David; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Willie, Mildred and Maudie; and one brother, Bobby. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Joshua Gregory.
