Mildred Louise Faulkner (1933-2016)

Mildred Louis Faulkner was born on April 15, 1933 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to  William Clifford Faulkner and Mamie Belle Kidd.

She married John Paul Tubia Sr on December 7, 1951 in Yuma, Arizona.

They were the parents of John Paul Tubia Jr and Debbie Tubia.

She died on May 12, 2016 in Frankfort, New York.

Mrs. Mildred L. Tubia 1933 – 2016
FRANKFORT – Mrs. Mildred L Tubia, 83, of Third Avenue, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, in her home, with her family by her side.
She was born in Muldrow, OK, on April 15, 1933, the daughter of the late William Clifford and Mamie Kidd Faulkner. She was raised and educated in schools in Holtville, CA. She was married to John P. Tubia, Sr., on December 7, 1951, in Yuma, AZ. John passed away on January 20, 2007. Mildred was an Assembler for Univac, Utica, NY, for over 20 years, until her retirement in 1977. She loved to travel, go to the casino and have family dinners. Her great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Mildred is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John, Jr. and Brenda Tubia, of Herkimer; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Frank Moracco, of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Corie Pullman, of Herkimer, and her husband, Christopher, Christie Maylo, of Mohawk, and her husband, Rich, Frankie Moracco, of Ilion, and his partner, Doug Spanfelner, and Jamie Viola, of Frankfort; five great-grandchildren, Logan and Jacob Pullman, Bear Maylo and John and Emma Viola. She is survived by one sister, Willie Mae Nelson, of Holtville, CA; sisters-in-law, Linda Faulkner, of Fort Smith, AR, and Norma Faulkner, of Sallisaw, OK; and brother-in-law, William (Bill) Knox, of Terrell, TX; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, William (Buddy) Faulkner, Bobby Faulkner; and sister, Maudie Knox.
Her funeral service will be held Monday morning at 11:30 AM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort, with the Rev. Leo Potvin, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday evening, from 4-8 PM, in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
Mildred’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice nurses and staff for their care and compassion during Mildred’s brief illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frankfort Fire Dept. Memorial Park Fund, 158 Litchfield St., Frankfort, NY 13340 or to Hospice & Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Rd., New Hartford, NY 13413. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
