Mary Ellen Faulkner was born on November 13, 1926 in Paw Paw, Oklahoma to  Roy Alfred Faulkner and Minnie Arizona Price.

She married Ira Edwards.

They were the parents of Donnie Edwards and Mary Ruth Edwards.

She married Doug Gilliam.

She died on July 4, 2006 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Funeral services for Mary Ellen Faulkner Gilliam, 79, of Muldrow, were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Rev. Tommy Treat officiating. Burial was in Cottonwood Cemetery, south of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow. Mrs. Gillam was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Paw Paw Bottoms, to Roy Faulkner and Minnie Arizona (Price) Faulkner. She died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Phyllis; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy and Helen; one brother, Jack; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Ruth Edwards Dill.
