Araminta Wilson was born on June 13, 1933 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to  Finnie Wilson and Alline Lena Faulkner.

She married Joseph Lewis Strong.

They were the parents of Tyrone Patrick Strong, Joseph Lewis Strong Jr, Roger D Strong, and Paul A Strong.

She died on January 31, 2012 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Araminta Wilson Strong, 78, of Muldrow, OK, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR.

She was born June 13, 1933 in Muldrow, OK.

She was a retired Certified Nurses’ Assistant and a member of the Healing Place in Fort Smith, AR.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Lewis Strong, Sr.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, February 2, 2012, at the Pavilion at Fort Smith National Cemetery with Pastor Don Moore officiating.

Burial will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.

She is survived by four sons Tyrone Patrick Strong of Pocola, OK, Joseph L. Strong, Jr. of Muldrow, OK, Roger D. Strong of Muldrow, OK and Paul A. Strong of Muldrow, OK, two sisters Martha Cherry of Muldrow, OK and Florence Breedlove of Muldrow, OK, two brothers Ronald Wilson of Dora, OK and Byrd Wilson of Sallisaw, OK, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
